- This kit uses a flat plate that is held in place by the leaf spring U-bolts on the rear axle. Check to ensure there is enough exposed U-bolt below the nut to accommodate the factory nut and washer once our 1/2-inch thick plate is installed above them. If you do not have enough exposed U-bolt, order one of our U-bolt replacement kits. For U-bolts with a square top, order kit #590050-00. For U-bolts with a round top, order kit #590050-10.
